Why Should I? Podcast - Episode 56 Why Should I Stop Dieting and Eat Intuitively?
I recently had the privilege of speaking on the podcast, Why Should I, with hostess Holly Ybarrola. Holly began her podcast after writing an article for The Everygirl titled “Why Choosing to Not Have Children is Okay”. After receiving a surprising number of comments from women supporting her stance, she decided to create a podcast to challenge societal norms and to question both her individual movtivating factors and society’s motivation behind why we do what we do. Through her podcast, Holly hopes to search for answers, connect women, and promote positivity.
On Why Should I? Podcast episode 56, I dive into what diet culture is, why we are so obsessed with health, and what exactly are the 10 principles of Intuitive Eating. I debunk nutrition, weight, body, and health myths left and right, while providing you with effective and sustainable ways to improve your relationship with food and body. If you are feeling stuck with your eating habits or need to get our of the diet cycle rat race, this is definitely the episode for you. Click the button below to listen for free!

The holiday rush begins with Halloween and does not really slow until after the new year. Media, marketing, and cultural messages pertaining to the festivities begin to flood our lives. On one hand we are encouraged to pig out on candy, stuff ourselves with pie, but then we are told to vow complete change in habits and become the best (looking) version of ourselves. What a confusing roller coaster of sentiment….
